Please join us at 740 Front in Historic Downtown Louisville. Designated historical, 740 is one of Colorado's two oldest remaining saloons; transformed back to its 1904 roots; a traditional American dining saloon with a turn of the century ambiance featuring a magnificent room dominating bar, built in 1880 by the Brunswick Company,. The copper spit trough, once equipped with running water, still exists at the front of the bar. Louisville, notorious for its drinking, gambling, and illegal activities, evidence of the occasional misunderstanding is the .22 caliber bullet hole in the front bar.
The bar offers a selection of craft beers, wines,  handcrafted cocktails and an extensive craft bourbon selection.

    A good dinner experience. The ambience is very good. It's one of the few places where they still use white linen on the tables and the historic feel very much represents Louisville. The menu has a good range of selections, and the kitchen is fairly consistent.

    Great location in Louisville that is central to the Boulder county area. Great food, down to earth service, and great looking bar.

    The service was slow and the server didn’t bring my meal. The other 5 at the table got their dinner, mine did not arrive. 10 min later the server came over and noticed I didn’t have a meal. They had to make me a new one. I got my food 20 min after the rest of the table.

    Been here a lot and will go back likely but the service was really slow for no clear reason and there was a big blunder but still charged fully for it.

    Fantastic steak house in Louisville, the food was amazing. It was my son’s birthday and they had the most delicious panna cotta for present. I highly recommend

    740 Front has been a favorite for years but we moved 40 miles north and only dine when in the area. Quality and service remain fantastic and the menu still features many long-time specialties. Worth the drive, worth your time, and worth the price. You will be surprised and delighted

    Thomas is a great server. He works hard to accommodate the table. Our food was good. We had one glitch and the manager offered to remake the steak (it was well done instead of medium). The diner took her up on it. Cocktails are really good. You can't beat the baked eggplant or house salad. We really appreciate the all night happy hour on Thursdays, although we ordered mostly off of the regular menu. The artichoke appetizer was super small. Everything else was well portioned.
