📍 ace wasabi Dad was visiting sf so I HAD to bring him to ace wasabi. Although there are a million reasons why I love this restaurant the first is definitely The ambiance it’s somehow dark but loud and joyful in this restaurant. They have a 5-6pm happy hour with amazing discounts on the freshest sashimi and they have bingo nights on Wednesdays that gets pretty rowdy and sounds fun (haven’t been yet though and REALLY want to) OKAY so some of the food highlights We got the - 8 piece sashimi sampler (got devoured so fast I forgot to take a photo it was so good) - Victoria’s Secret roll (it was so good and lightly spicy with tuna and tempura) - 2 pac roll my dad loved it and said it was so fresh and light BUT one of the many things I love about this place is how fast the service is (it’s almost insane how fast they grab your plate and sit you down) -highly recommend a reservation though ALSO I LOVED THE TOKYO margarita and it’s one of the coolest cocktails ever. It’s a typical marg and they put salt and matcha on the rim and it’s one of the most yummy margs ever and you probably are thinking… uh r u sure that would taste good? but TRUST ME it is amazing. #tokyomargarita #acewasabi #sushi #sf

Very fresh fish. Excellent service. We went in very hungry. After ordering, our food was ready within five minutes. Very fast service, with healthy size portions and nice plating. Ace is always going to be my “Go to” sushi spot.

We were looking for a place for a management team dinner that was great food and a fun atmosphere. Ace delivered everything we wanted and on top of that the food came out as fast as any high-quality restaurant I’ve ever been at. Can’t say enough good about our experience . Thank you to the team at Ace wasabi for an amazing dinner.

The food was A+! Ordered sashimi, fried chicken karaage, Brussels sprouts, spicy tuna roll, edamame, truffle fries, tuna tartare, grilled pork ribs, beef gyozas, ozzy roll, and complimentary mochi ice cream (birthday day treat)! We’ll be coming back :)

We had sashimi and several other dishes. Overall, the food was very fresh, and the fish literally melted in our mouths. Totally worth going if you want fresh and delicious sushi. The Toro-toro roll was to die for—again, we could not be more satisfied.

I’ve been coming to ace wasabi’s since the mid 90’s. The sushi is outstanding, the staff are great, and the atmosphere and clientele are fun! Bingo on Wednesday and Thursday nights @ 6:00. Happy hour is awesome from 5-6.

The service from the staff was excellent, friendly and attentive throughout. The dishes we tried were flavorful and well-prepared. The grilled corn on the cob was absolutely delicious, and the grilled asparagus with its dressing was a standout. The fried chicken karaage was a highlight, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The wagyu beef gyozas were decent, though not remarkable. Among the sushi selections, the 4 pieces of toro nigiri and spicy tuna classic roll were average, but the Rocket Man signature roll truly stole the show, creative and outstanding in taste. For dessert, the mochi ice cream was a delightful finish to the meal.
