Whether for a special celebration, or simply the pleasure of a quintessentially English ritual performed with unparalleled attention to detail, Afternoon Tea at The Lanesborough is an occasion to be treasured. Mere moments from Knightsbridge and leafy Hyde Park just across the road, The Lanesborough is the ideal choice for afternoon tea in London.

Served daily in the majestic, naturally-lit surroundings of the hotel’s dining room, The Lanesborough Grill, afternoon tea is accompanied by a pianist at weekends.

Lovely Afternoon Tea. Sandwiches were very tasty and the scones gorgeous. Didn’t have any of the cakes as we were too full but they were boxed up for us so yet to have them. The alcoholic cocktail was most enjoyable together with the champagne we ordered. Went to another high end hotel last year but we all agreed The Lanesborough was far nicer. The staff were friendly and nothing too much trouble and the ambience was relaxing. Definitely recommend.

From the moment we arrived at The Lanesborough, we felt so welcome and at home. It was our daughter's birthday and with her being a Bridgerton fan, the theme of the afternoon tea was perfect. The team were fantastic and made the celebration special. The sandwiches and pastries were excellent, we particularly enjoyed the roast turkey sandwich and Book of Eloise. Thank you so much for a really enjoyable and memorable afternoon.

A very nice Afternoon Tea experience in a lovely hotel and setting. Very informal and relaxed. The food was delicious but the price is a lot higher than other hotels and the suggested 15% service charge a surprise. The doggy bag of leftover cakes and scones was Lanesborough branded and very nice. If you're lucky you might spot Lilebet the hotel cat prowling around the hotel.

This was definitely a waste of my time and money. $300 USD for subpar/unpalatable finger food and desserts and slow service. Please allocate your money to another experience worthwhile

Booked the Bridgerton themed afternoon tea as a 40th Birthday gift. The surroundings were opulent, which, when accompanied by the live pianist (alternating with broadcast music) and the positive vibe from both the guests and staff, made for an altogether wonderful dining experience.

From start to finish it has been an incredible experience! The festive afternoon tea was just amazing. Who knew that chocolate brownie tea could taste so fabulous!! Each member of staff we met were incredible. My daughter had a wonderful birthday so thank you so much.

We faced a 30-minute wait for our table despite having a reservation, which was frustrating. When seated, the two of us were placed at a large table that felt awkward and impersonal. The atmosphere lacked the festive charm we were hoping for. There were no carol singers, no seasonal touches like Christmas cake or even a special Christmas tea blend. It didn’t capture the cozy, holiday spirit that makes afternoon tea at this time of year special. For the price, we expected far better. While the food and tea were fine, the overall experience didn’t justify the expense. We’ve been to other places that deliver far more in terms of ambiance, service, and value. If you’re looking for a memorable and festive afternoon tea experience, you might want to explore other options.
