Anchorage Restaurant is our favorite place to eat in Milwaukee! Located on our first floor, the restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner, with happy hour specials running from 4 pm to 6 pm. Stop in for happy hour and enjoy specially discounted wines, beers, and small plates.

For breakfast, select from a-la-carte options like buttermilk pancakes with whipped butter, oatmeal brulee or enjoy our Innjoyable breakfast with eggs, potatoes, choice of meat and toast.

Dinner dishes include classics like fish & chips, bacon-wrapped meatloaf and pan-seared salmon. We also offer fresh vegetarian options like Chef Adrian’s walnut burger and our Brussel Salad.

Food was good to very good, except the three cheese truffle flatbread, which was very plain, missing any truffle flavor and seemed to be topped with the cheapest grated parm. Service was ok, could be better. I don't think a single finished plate was cleared until we left the table. Service was courteous, at least. Admittedly, I was annoyed that they claimed not to take reservations, even though I had a reservation on OpenTable. It just wasn't a good look for our birthday dinner, kind of embarrassing and awkward. We enjoyed the outdoor area; firepit, giant jenga, giant Connect 4, bag toss, comfy seating, live music. Overall, good.

Food was great, service was good but with the open concept, it was very loud. We sat at a bar height table that was long and wide. With only 6 of us, it wasn't very conducive to conversation. However, as I said the food was great and the service was good so I would definitely go back. Everyone had something different from the menu and we all liked our food selections a lot. I would definitely recommend it.

The staff did a great job of accommodating our group of 7 with short notice, and even opened up a room they don’t normally use for a Friday night. Server was very attentive and made sure we were well cared for with some delicious food. Overall, a very good experience.

Open table took our reservation but when we arrived they were just cleaning up from a funeral celebration and there were no tables EVEN SET up. I think Open table did them a great dis-service as we left immediately for another restaurant.

This is not the Anchorage of old. Very limited menu. Ordered the Ribeye @ $32. I got steak and potatoes (not even a salad or dinner bread). I could have made better potatoes at home.

Terrible service, had reservations and was told the restaurant was closed to a private party. Service was ok but only one server and was told we could not use patio

Not super busy on a Saturday night, but that’s a shame because the service was wonderful and the food was delicious. Yes, it’s not the Anchorage of old, but the pared down menu still has plenty of options and the entrees we ordered were all well prepared. I could eat the succotash under the crispy trout every day. My only criticism is they were playing the same music at the same volume in the bar as in the restaurant. I think a slightly different selection in the restaurant would be better.

was very disappointed in the menu. We haven't eaten here in awhile and were surprised to see so little choices for food. The chief did a great job everyone was happy with their food. Other customers sat down looked at the menu and walked out. You might think of adding more selections to keep customers returning.
