   We had dined at Aqua Grill before, and it was a nice quiet meal. On Sunday (Sunday Funday) they had a band on the patio from 3-6 which we were unaware of when we made our reservation for 5 PM, which is when they open for dinner reservations. The inside of the restaurant was totally open, yet the hostess took us to a table next to the noisy patio. The noise was very loud and became unbearable when the door to the patio was opened. We requested to be relocated to a booth further away from the patio which greatly diminished the noise but was still very loud. Service and food were both excellent. Lesson learned is to check their events calendar before making a reservation.

   We are not a frequent diner at Aqua Grill so I don’t want our meal to reflect their usual fare. My shrimp tasted like frozen shrimp. A very distinct taste. I would have expected a seafood restaurant to have fresh shrimp. The side dish of beans and rice arrived barely luke warm, although it was tasty. Our server did a nice job. My husband enjoyed his flounder dish and had no complaints.

   The service was awful. We had to wave down our server and ask for our drinks after our appetizers came out. Other tables were offered bread. I’m not sure if it’s included but we were not offered. My leftovers were brought out in a box, other tables got a bag. Another server came over and asked us if everything was alright, maybe because our server was never around we kept looking for him. The table next to us came in after us, and their service was great! They also got everything ahead of us and left before us.
