Went here for a special birthday -- wasn't what I expected. They claim to have "cocktails" but it's just a few soju based drinks, I wouldn't have come if I knew that. Very misleading. I had a reservation for several days prior but when we arrived only the two tables right by the door was available so I had to wear my coat the entire meal. They were out of the whole fish -- not their fault but at this point I was about to leave considering how everything so far was negative. The service was really good. The food was fine but nothing mind blowing. I was expecting authentic French but it was more of an Italian hybrid. Also I hate when you order two appetizers and they are plated exactly the same which was the case with the buratta and carpaccio. If you are getting a $15 app it feels cheap to realize they couldn't be creative enough to make their 6 appetizers unique.

I don’t think the restaurant knew there was a basketball game at usf the evening we dined there. They appeared to be short staffed. But absent that it’s always a treat to eat here

Dropped off my girls while looking for parking. A little disappointed that we were seated outside. After talking to the hostess, she assured us that she would move us in when the table was available. All of the waiters were attentive and friendly. The food selection was limited (maybe it’s due to Christmas). Requested capellini over fettuccine but turns out it wasn’t an option. This would be my go to if I live near by but not if I had to drive for an hour.

I think they are booked themselves for Christmas or some people got there realize they were sitting outside and insisted on sitting inside. Some people did not leave after their hour and a half allotted time so we were sat an hour and 15 minutes late we stood outside weren’t even offered a chair then after an hour they offered us to eat outside and I was like well whoever didn’t sit at this table must’ve taken ours inside so since we’ve waited so long, we’re gonna just wait a little bit longer. When we finally got inside, our server, rushed us so much. He was talking so fast and literally standing over me from behind because it was so crowded. I don’t know if they added an extra table for the holidays, but I don’t remember the restaurant being so table crowded probably the worst waiter I’ve had all year The saving grace after all this was the food was incredible. We did not complain because we understood that the time constraint was due to customers, although running a restaurant business in San Francisco and being open on Christmas Day you would have to expect stuff like this. At least it was better than Christmas Eve dinner here last year. The food was not very good and although we asked to be sat inside, they sat us outside and we froze. I definitely will go back to try it again because the food was so good this year, but I will not go back on a holiday.

We went for Christmas dinner. I had requested indoor seating, but they gave us an outdoor table (looked like they had overbooked since they called an hour before asking if we could move our reservation to a later time). This wasn’t ideal since it was a cold evening and we were dining with my older mother and two young kids. The inside was very lively and overall looked like a beautiful space to dine in too. The food was good and service was excellent. They gave us a few complimentary desserts, but this could have been due to the original seating issue IDK. Overall I thought the experience was enjoyable.

The food was great and the ambiance was wonderful. Given that it was Christmas Day, the wait staff were fantastic. You would have received five stars but two things: we were never told of the 90 minute limit which I totally understand given the holiday but we were not told that initially and the staff other than our waiter tried to get us to hurry. The other constructive comment is that there are at least four tables near the front door and we had one of them with a party of seven and a couple of seniors in the group. The front door continued to stay open despite us asking to have it closed; but a faulty door jam kept it open. I literally spent half my meal closing the door and holding it open for other customers. My table finally fixed it ourselves within two minutes using ribbon we had from our gifts-simple fix that the hostess or one of the other staff could have easily have rectified and the customers at the tables would have been completely happy.
