    I really enjoyed the food,staff,location,and atmosphere in Blackwall Hitch in Annapolis. Lots of varieties of dishes to choose from for brunch, extraordinary drink menu. However, it's a bit pricey for you to pay $22.00 for a 4-year-old child who only ate 2 strawberries half a biscuit and ate 2 marshmallows with apple juice. The price for adults was just fine. Please arrive on time, because you only have 1 hour and 40 minutes to eat to allow walk-ins to enjoy the lovely cuisine.

    A really nice experience. The menu was diverse and our selections were on point (naked oysters, crispy calamari, kale and salmon salad, and The Shobb). Our server, Seth, was both attentive and efficient. Great value for an exceptional meal. We will be back!

    As locals, we've been to Blackwall Hitch many times. This time we went for comfort food and were not disappointed. My partner had the lamb shank dinner - which looks like a Flintstone's meal and is unctuous and full of flavor - and it's a huge portion. I had the beef short ribs dinner and it took was flavorful and succulent - perfect comfort meals. Our server, Pete, was gracious, attentive (but did not hover) and we really enjoyed his humor and good will. We always seem to go when there are parties going on and sometimes things can get loud but that hasn't deterred us - it's just something to know. If there's one minor complaint, it's that often (not just this visit) bar orders take longer than we think they should. This seems to be a bar issue, not a server issue. All in all, we'll continue to come back to Blackwall Hitch for the wonderful food and great service.

    It was a quiet and cold Sunday evening, so I asked if we could sit near the fireplace. It’s a nice table in the bar area and I could have spent quite awhile drinking a glass of wine in front of the fireplace listening to the restaurant’s soundtrack. My mother and I had crab dip and the Restaurant Week menu of Caesar Salad, braised short rib and the chocolate brownie. They were unfortunately out of brownies, but offered us another dessert off of the menu. Hannah was terrific - friendly, joyous and polite. I love Blackwall Hitch and have had delicious meals and quality time with my guests when I was there, but tonight seemed more special and I appreciated that! Looking forward to the next time!!!

    Food was good, portions have definitely suffered from shrinkflation. I can't say that there was anything so distinctive about the experience that would have me running back.
