For twenty five years we have been coming here to celebrate special family events as well has bringing guests from out of town. We have never been disappointed. The food is delicious and beautifully presented. The servers are professional and so nice. This time we even had the manager come to make sure that we were well taken care of. We will be back soon!

Had reservations for Father’s Day dinner. Hugely underwhelming and over priced. Made reservation on OpenTable for outdoor seating for 5. We were one of the first groups seated and were told our party was too large for outdoor seating. Another party behind us was told the same thing and they said their reservation was made for outdoor, too. Within the hour a group of 10 was taken outside to their table…. The wine, appetizers, desserts were good. The steaks were WAY overcooked- the medium rare had no pink, at all. The waitress didn’t check on the quality of the dinners or even ask our daughter if she wanted anything but water. The service left much to be desired! We will never be back. It is a shame, Midway is beautiful and the location is charming, but Blue Boar was a huge disappointment.

**The restaurant has been updated since the photos posted and looks less dated. We had a fantastic time. The food was incredible, service top notch, and even the other guests were friendly. Next time we’re in the area we’ll most definitely come back. Note that they do have a good wine and drinks list, you just need to ask!

We WERE supposed to have dinner on the back patio. It’s an idyllic setting! While having our Caesar salad, beautiful night turned disastrous, a micro burst occurred. Trees bending winds picking up. We ran inside. Trees snapped, shingles landed on our table. Broken glass everywhere. What a fiasco. No electricity inside. We were reseated inside and still served delicious nacho mahi and steak! What a comeback. White chocolate cake was plain, and ice cream not served with it. Staff was terrific. What a night! We will come again!

The food was absolutely amazing, we had the Gouda Fondue was delicious! Completely recommend it dinning there.

Great ambience, and was nice and quiet and private for our group, but service was very slow and food was not as good as we had hoped. We have eaten here several times and this experience was not as good as we remembered from past visits.
