Brittany was a great server who was just the right amount of attentiveness and privacy in her service. My guest and I both enjoy the meal and the time. Thanks for another good Brigantine Experience!

Loved the beautiful new renovation. Fireplaces were a great addition. But . . . Restaurant was COLD! Our waitress was too. Serving an elderly blind patron at my table, she was visibly hurried and impatient, removed our bread plates, came twice for our drink order in five minutes. She warmed up but was never friendly. Food quickly got cold, potato chips were stale, not the usual quality from the Brig. An off day?? Normally a lovely place for a peaceful lunch. Not today. On a better note, the hostess was delightful and has a lovely attitude and smile, the bus boy was gracious and very genuinely friendly and kind.

Had a lovely meal in the dining room. It was difficult to read the menu even with good lighting, otherwise everything was wonderful. The server was very attentive and the scallops were fabulous!

Service was excellent. We had a reservation, arrived early but still had to wait which is disappointing. But our server, Kay, made up for the wait. We sat in the dining room instead of the bar, but it was still VERY noisy. This is a constant problem ever since they remodeled the restaurant. The food is always lovely but once again, they were "out" of our favorite wine. Why? Overall, we enjoy the Brig but there is room for improvement.

Great evening with friends made even better by the service provided by Kay. She was delightful. She didn’t rush us and enabled us to catch up with our friends. She lit up the table every time she came by. The food was awesome and Kay’s service is why, The Brigantine, is our “go to” casual dining restaurant in San Diego. Thanks for a great night and special thanks, to Kay, for the attentive service!

The food was wonderful, so fresh and so nicely presented. The service was outstanding. Loved the tempura lobster tacos, a real winner.
