   Everything is perfect!! Yes, a little expensive but very worth it. Our server was Tobias and he is excellent! We will request him next visit too. Thanks!

   I ordered the Wagyu beef chefs special which is topically among the most expensive meats in the world.It should features marbling, meaning that streaks of fat exist within the red meat that make it tender and moist, while adding flavor. This was not that. My wife ordered the chefs special sea bass which is topically large moist cuts of flaky tender meat this was not that. If you’re going to charge high-end prices, don’t use second rate meat.

   My wife had the lobster roll and I had fresh oysters, plus fried shrimp. We thought the food was not worth the price. As an example, oysters were $4 a piece and were tiny for Chesapeake Bay oysters. My wife had the lobster roll and this again, was very expensive. The ingredients included a lot of corn, which was unusual in our experience and we assumed it was there for fill. My fried shrimp had little of the appearance or substance of fresh shrimp under the heavily fried panko coating. Rather, it was somewhat mushy. I was really looking forward to a good fried shrimp dinner since I hadn’t had one since we left Florida in April. On balance, the salad and French fries were good. The setting was wonderful with as cool breeze moving across the patio, and the waitress was very attentive and pleasant but the food wasn’t up to the ambience. Perhaps our expectations were too high, based on the reputation of the Bristol and our past experiences.

   The seafood was great as always with very good service! Our experience was excellent overall as we celebrated our anniversary.

    I generally love Bristol--food & service. my visit on 5/29/25 to celebrate a birthday. the server was not too friendly, almost a bit combative. i must also say the food quality was not up to par. The crabcake sandwich was pretty sparse I requested no cheese & got it plain, no tomato/garnishments. very bland. We did not want/couldn't have fries but were told that was only choice. The iced tea was bitter/sour. I asked for another & was told it all comes from the same place. Needless to say this is not normal for Bristol. Will probably stay away for a while.
