We have been going to Byfords for 35 years, we live locally. We have seen it transformed from a simple cafe to the impressive establishment it is now. The standards have always been set high and they have always been achieved. Great good, great staff and the perfect ambience

The service in byfords is always excellent, food was good. We thought the wine was expensive for the quality.

There is a refurbishment going on at the moment but in the actual restaurant itself it is absolutely fine. Only notice it in the entrance/way in. New booking system is great. Food good, prices reasonable and staff were great. Commented to husband on return home how nice it was to have staff who were really friendly and seemed happy at work ! All in all a lovely lunch out !

We had a few nights stay at Byfords. Could not fault a thing. Plenty of variety at breakfast & dinner. Afternoon tea was delicious and plenty of too. All the dishes we had were good size and tasty.

Lovely greeting and shown to our table with food and drinks menu. Excellent choice of food and we chose chicken supreme. The taste was phenomenal. Using our Norfolk passport gave us 10% discount. Can't wait to go back again.

The food was delicious and the amount of cakes on offer during the Extravagant Afternoon Tea was out of this world! The staff were all welcoming and could not have been more accommodating (Especially for those of us that don't drink tea!) Would highly recommend.

Dinner at Byfords was fabulous. The atmosphere was relaxed and everyone was enjoying themselves. Would absolutely recommend the cauliflower to start, it was so delicious. Will be back soon.

Had a lovely afternoon tea today. Very friendly service, 2 lots of sandwiches and 2 lots of tea. Everything freshly prepared and nicely presented.
