El finalista de la temporada 1 de "Top Chef", Connie DeSousa, es cochef y propietario de este nuevo restaurante situado en el centro de Calgary. Su estilo de cocina es urbano/rústico y cuenta con un asador y una parrilla construidos a medida, un rebanador de estilo vintage y un bar de carnes frías artesanales. El CHARCUT es un lugar de reunión moderno y acogedor que combina la cocina de chef con toques italianos y de la Francia rural.     Charcut came to us as a local favorite while visiting in Calgary. It completely lived up to expectations. The ambience is warm and contemporary, and the food is excellent, with a focus on local meats and produce. The wine list is terrific, especially on Wednesdays when it is 50% off. Especially high marks for the service team: fun, friendly, and excellent advisors on the menu.

    We had an outstanding time at Charcot!! The ambiance was great. Our server, Allison, was wonderful. She was very knowledgeable about the menu, gave us great input, she was very polite and had a great personality! Her recommendations were spot on! The Portuguese chorizo, Caesar salad, and pasta carbonara were terrific. The true highlight was the bone marrow papardel with mushrooms and prime rib was off the hook!! Overall, a fantastic experience!!

    Very smokey in the restaurant and sewer work was being performed. More of a that day problem.

    Wonderful service, not only from the server but from the whole front of house team. Very balanced and creative menu. Cocktails were also very well put together and all in all very reasonably priced for the quality of food. We had 3 starters and 2 mains and had a tough time picking a favourite! We will definitely return to sample more of the menu as we had a hard time choosing. Highly recommend.

    You will likely get a better experience and better food at The Keg. The service was very poor and the flavour left a lot to be desired. The chairs were also uncomfortable. This is a place I would not recommend to anyone for any reason.

    Service was good free cocktail was nice. The food wasn't great for the price and they sat us in the lounge for a Valnetines reservation. Not cool

    The dining experience at the Charcut is always amazing! There are great lunch options and the service is excellent. I always bring clients to the Chatcut at lunch time. Thanks again for the great lunch and service!
