    This is our second time eating here and it did not disappoint! I dream of the Whipped Paneer appetizer, order extra Paan with it. We took out of town friends who adore Indian food and they were impressed. The Saag Mac and Cheese was so unique to them. Service was a bit slow but it was Father's Day and we did like our server. Parking is miserable. The adjacent lot is $45 for 2 hours but because our table wasnt ready on time and service was slow, I had to add an additional 2 hours. Such a racket, the Nashville parking. The restaurant suggests the parking garage over Whole Foods and they will validate but it was the longest line to get in and appeared to be full. The parking situation would actually be a hindrance to my returning anytime soon, such a shame. Other than that, the place is beautiful and the food is delicious!

    Not the run of the mill Indian, which works great for some plates, not as great with others. Would still go back, but would try others first.

    We made a reservation for 1:30 through open table for Father’s Day. When we got there the hostess told us we had to be done by 2:30. We would have left but we had already paid for parking. Nowhere on open table did it say there was a time limit. Our server, Pratik, was great and let us stay a little longer so we weren’t rushed. He also took my ribeye off. I asked for it medium rare and it was close to well done and looked nothing like the photo on their site. Maybe stick to dinner here. That’s always been very good.

    A Consistently Exceptional Culinary Experience We’ve dined at Chauhan Ale & Masala House many times, and each visit is truly outstanding. This restaurant continues to impress with its creative, flavorful dishes, beautiful presentation, and warm, attentive service. One thing that keeps us coming back, besides the incredible food, is how well the staff takes care of us. I have food allergies, and every time, the servers have been exceptionally helpful and careful. They take the time to answer questions, check with the kitchen, and make sure I feel safe and comfortable with my meal. That kind of service means the world and is hard to find. This Sunday’s Father’s Day menu was a delicious fusion of bold Indian flavors and Southern flair, and everything is consistently well-prepared and full of personality. And every dish we’ve tried has been flavorful, balanced, and presented with care. Chauhan never disappoints. We love it here and look forward to our next visit every time we leave!

    We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant last night. The food was flavorful, and the service was truly top-notch—attentive without being overbearing. It was easy to find from the parking area, though the lot itself was a bit confusing and could use some upkeep. That said, I did appreciate that parking in the garage was validated, which made things more convenient. All in all, a memorable evening, and I’d happily return.

    My wife and I went for an early anniversary dinner. Our waitresses was very helpful, and took the time to help us find food that was not overly spicy. We both had the lamb chops with different types of curry. Both of which were outstanding, and the chops were cooked to perfection. We will definitely be back.
