    Chez Lindsay, located at 11 Hill Rise in Richmond, is a charming French bistro that has been delighting patrons for over 35 years. Specializing in Breton cuisine, the restaurant offers a variety of galettes (savory buckwheat crepes) and crêpes, as well as an array of seafood dishes. The ambiance is cozy and romantic. This restaurant is a really hidden gem. We started with Escargots de Bourgogne Snails with garlic & parsley butter, followed by Filet de Flétan Pan fried halibut fillet, grilled Tiger Prawn, piperade, caviar beurre blanc & Specials : Lamb Shank with dauphinoise potatoes. This meal was superb !!

    Catch up dinner with a friend. Both had the halibut which was cooked to perfection. No problem swapping potatoes for chips for one diner. Service was efficient and friendly. All in all a truly enjoyable evening.

    We were there for a family lunch. Food, service and value were extremely good. The dining area was a bit on the cold side which is why we gave only three stars for ambience. A couple of degrees warmer and it would have been perfect. We’ll definitely be back soon, which is probably the best recommendation we could give. Thank you.

    Lovely good and really helpful and professional staff. Nice setting with views of the river if you get a table near the windows. My only negative comment is that some of the food was not very hot, but the scallops and the liver and bacon were delicious, and my companions all thought their food was delicious too.

    We had an absolutely fabulous birthday lunch. The best meal out we’ve had in ages! Beautiful flavours and authentic cooking- compliments to the chef!

    A place worthy of a visit when in Richmond. Nice food, cozy ambience, great service. Nice music (however, should be rotated a bit more often). Overall: a great place.

    A really delicious lunch from the Prix Fixe menu. We would initially have liked the a la Carte option, but we found things we liked and for me, the Gravadlax, rib-eye steak and tarte tatin were all glorious. My friend said her calve's liver and bacon dish was sublime. All washed down with a couple of glasses of excellent wines (her) and fabulous red grape juice (me). We'll be back very soon.

    Food excellent but very noisy as restaurant was full. We also announced before our visit that it was a special visit for my sons birthday as the restaurant asked when we booked and the restaurant did nothing to celebrate the event
