                                It was a fantastic way to celebrate our anniversary. The food was amazing. The restaurant was very pretty and our waiter Victor was very attentive to our needs.

                                Traveling the mid-Atlantic and trying new restaurants has become a fantastic way to escape from work and I do it twice a month. Chops seemed to fit right in with the usual places I like. I couldn’t have been more wrong. I enjoy bar service and asked if I could be seated at the bar. I was pushed to sit at a table then a high top and I said I’d really prefer just the bar. Finding a seat was no problem as every seat was open. Bartender came after a wait and there was no greeting. No “my name is” no asking is this was our first time. Nothing. Just what do you want to drink. I asked to order an appetizer and I was expecting (my mistake) the bartender to come back and talk about dinner options as the menu says there are daily specials. After a long wait we were finally able to order dinner. I had to ask what the specials were. I found it odd. Dinner came the lobster I just compliment. Very nice. The filet was tough and had to saw thru like no other. Both our plates were substituted with a different vegetable and neither one of us were told or asked. Potatoes over whipped and very gluey like while also lacking flavor. Being handed a bill at the end I was kind blown to see a credit card fee. I PAID IN CASH- That’s wild to me. Was never asked, don’t recall seeing anything about the fee, and was given a blank stare when I asked about it. Correct me if I’m wrong but even if I paid with a debit card there should be no fee. Credit card fees are for credit cards. A simple search of fair consumer federal practices should clarify. But to not even be asked is wild. I found no value in my dinner. And calling it dinner is disappointing. I enjoy restaurants for the experience. If I just wanted to eat I could’ve ordered papa John’s across the street. The bartender completely failed on delivering. Not trying to be rude. Just open and honest from my POV

                                Steak was good, chicken Alfredo not so much. Service was great and the waiter was very attentive. My wife and I decided on this place for our anniversary dinner and for the price was expecting a nice quiet environment. However what we got was more like a bar experience. But hey, I got to watch the UFC fight.

                                We booked for Thanksgiving night. The steaks were amazing, but the shrimp risotto tasted like the had a garlic accident. I love garlic, but two bites into it I couldn't go on. It was very cold and the dinner was very slow. I ordered a chocolate cake. It came out as a chocolate silk pie. Not good tonight. Food cold.

                                Overall the food was delicious. The only negative thing was the amount of fat on the cowboy ribeye and there was no sear on the steak. The waiter and wait staff were friendly and prompt.

                                Exactly what we were looking for in a high-end urban dining experience. Thanksgiving Day special was a phenomenal value and the filet mignon was perfectly cooked. Servers were attentive to details and added a dimension that is hard to achieve.

                                This was our first visit to Chops. We live in Chesapeake and tend to avoid the beach area during tourist season. We decided to visit Chops for Thanksgiving dinner, and we definiely made the right choice. From the time we entered the door, the experience was wonderful. We were greeted by Jesse who was also our server. She gave us a choice for our seating and made sure we were comfortable with our choice. She explained the menu and helped us choose our choice of wine. We decided to have the Thanksgiving menu, rather than choose from the regular menu. Everything was prepared perfectly and tasted excellent. The portions were above adequate and were served hot. Truly, an exceptional meal and atmosphere. We actually cannot wait to go back to try the regular menu. Thank you Chops for making our Thanksgiving a memorable one. Thank you Jesse for being such a wonderful waitress/server.

                                Made Reservations here for my Birthday on IG which was simple and easy. My experience here was Amazing. My only complaint was the waitress I had could try to be a little more friendlier. Her thoughts penetrated loudly through her facial expressions and her Delivery. One of my friends ordered Lobster Tails which were cold. Other than that my experience as the Birthday girl was Great!

                                I took my boyfriend there for his 61st birthday and he had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, the mood was fine and our waiter was great! Couldn’t have asked for a better date night.

                                AWFUL EXPERIENCE. I waited over an hour for my food and I never received it. At the hour and 20 minute mark, I was tired of waiting and left the restaurant.
