   As always this is a nice spot amongst the tavern options in Williamsburg. Service was incredibly speedy and also very pleasant. The fried whole rainbow trout was the same I had in March and was a big fish. Same with the fried chicken! The pea soup is a standout with the little touch of puréed parsnip. The apple pie is a lot to handle for one person!

   We had an amazing dinner at Christiana Campbell’s Tavern. We dined on Farced Oysters, Pease Soup, Seafood Pyre, Fried Chicken with Buttered Crab and rounded it out with Hazelnut Gelato. We felt transported back to 18th century USA with the best server in Tim! (There was however a very loud server that should have toned it down a bit as her voice echoed throughout the section we were in and I don’t think it was fitting for such an intimate setting.) I highly recommend this dining experience!

   This was a lovely blend of historic experience and amazing food with fun adult beverages and a great service team.

   Four of us (sibling reunion) were seated in a private room on the second floor. Every dish was tasty - we each had something different and tried them all. Our server was cheerful and helpful. Highly recommend!

    We had a very memorable birthday dinner. We dined with a 2 and 4 year old. They enjoyed the live music and even though it’s a very nice restaurant, they were very welcoming to little kids.
