   We were greeted by Cora with a smile and welcoming tone. We originally had seating in the dining room, but once visiting the cellar we asked if we could dine downstairs. The staff was very accommodating. Tetyana D was our waitress and she did an excellent job of answering all of our questions and attentive to our needs. Overall the experience was wonderful and the food was outstanding. I highly recommend the seafood pye and crab cakes.

   Absolutely outstanding in every way. A true colonial experience with excellent food and the kindest wait staff. Each item on the menu was explained with some history and care. The ambiance of the lighting, furniture, music was everything we could have hoped for to gain an AUTHENTIC colonial tavern experience rather than one that may have felt “Disney-ish.” We created great memories around the table here and highly recommend!

   Great experience for the whole family, especially the kids. Food very good. Our pickiest child eater went wild eating the kids shrimp. Excellent server with good advice.

   The spoon bread changed my life! Food was great and service was outstanding / really enjoyed our meal.

   Loved it! My kids were invested the whole time. Food was excellent - had the fried chicken, apple pie and the potato dinner dish. It’s a must do! Get reservations early!

    The fried fish is bland. I had to use a few lemon wedges to give it taste. My favorite is the salad but it was not as fresh as two days before when we ate there. Service is always great. Hosts and waiters are always very nice. Better service than Kings’s Arms. Good food. Prices are a little steep. Ambience is nice, with colonial live music and colonial dishes like spoon bread, etc.
