Cork Tree Restaurant is built around California products. Local ingredients are used whenever possible and wines of the West Coast, particularly California, are featured.

The wine list is always a work in progress, with a balance of well known wineries, as well as boutique wineries.

Cork Tree enhabits a style rich in California elegance. Large and round booths privately encased in wood and fabric provide intimate spaces for conversation and romance, while providing views of the understated glamour of the dining room. Beautiful Palm Trees and a natural cascading fountain make the Cork Tree Patio wind-protected and well-appointed for dining under the stars. Additionally, depending on the size of your celebration, two private dining options await.

                                                                                          The food overall was good, but for the price, I expected better. Thus the value is 3 stars. One member made two attempts to have her beef dish be well done, but neither attempt was successful so she did not eat the main course. The restaurant did credit her meal upon her request with no pushback, so they did the right thing. Service was very good

                                                                                          I’ve been going to Cork Tree with my family for years now. I would consider myself a local regular. Lived in the desert most my life. We ended up going for New Years Eve with 6 friends and family and honestly was very dissatisfied. It was a $150 dollar prefix menu. It was basically very close to the food they would normally have. But some how they just didn’t get it right. The appetizer was terrible and main course and dessert wasn’t far from it. After we paid the $1,200 dollar bill and had no drinks but water. I realized that I wouldn’t be going back to Cork Tree anymore. It was a very expensive meal that I was beyond dissatisfied with. If I’m paying that much for a New Years Eve dinner it better be amazing and it was not. Two thumbs down and won’t be going back.

                                                                                          Food and presentation was amazing. Excellent service. We had fillet, ribeye, duck, creme brûlée- all amazing. Highly recommend- we come here every time we visit Palm desert. Love the light up menus too.. out door courtyard w lighting and heaters very nice option to sit too.

                                                                                          As always, wonderful ambience and excellent service. My wife had the duck and it was excellent. I had the salmon and it was not up to their normal standards. Somewhat mushy and not memorable. Overall experience was very nice but some food items could have been better especially considering the price.

                                                                                          This place is overpriced & average food. I’ve dined at several restaurants in Palm Desert much better. More expensive than Ruth Chris or Morton’s but food not on same level. Cactus Jacks blows this place away for 2/3 the price. I wouldn’t dine here again.
