Cork Tree Restaurant is built around California products. Local ingredients are used whenever possible and wines of the West Coast, particularly California, are featured.

The wine list is always a work in progress, with a balance of well known wineries, as well as boutique wineries.

Cork Tree enhabits a style rich in California elegance. Large and round booths privately encased in wood and fabric provide intimate spaces for conversation and romance, while providing views of the understated glamour of the dining room. Beautiful Palm Trees and a natural cascading fountain make the Cork Tree Patio wind-protected and well-appointed for dining under the stars. Additionally, depending on the size of your celebration, two private dining options await.

                                                                                          Too bad this place has gone down hill. We have been coming to the desert for 3 years and this place was a staple. We have always had an enjoyable experience with the food and service but tonight was the opposite. We were incredibly rushed by our server Max. We ordered our main course and it was out before we could even finish our appetizers. We also wanted to order wine with dinner, but never got the chance. Instead we were asked half way during our main course if we were done and if we wanted dessert or not. Which we replied by letting him know politely we would think about it while we finished our main course. Instead. We were brought with the bill before finishing our dinner, and no offer or chance to even order dessert as well as taking our unfinished martinis. After the bill was rushed off to us, Max proceeded to gossip with his manager about this. Accidents happen, we all have bad days. Maxs manager had the opportunity to fix this but instead was too busy walking around in circles. Too bad.

                                                                                           All the food was great ambience was great. The only issue we encountered was it was an extremely long wait time between the salad course and the main entrée. I know they were very busy for New Year’s Eve and probably prepared for the amount of people that they had dining  Our waiter was very friendly, courteous, and helpful on deciding what courses to select. We have done there many times this is one of our go to restaurants in the desert

                                                                                          Our table of 5 dined here for New Years prix fixe dinner. Unfortunately the food was mostly a big miss. The Scottish salmon was overcooked and dry. The artichoke side was not good at all. The only dish that was appetizing looking was the fillet. We all had wished we had ordered that. The New York was ordered medium rare and was served well done. The servers were just ok. The ambience was terrible. We were seated next to a large, loud and disruptive group of children. For the cost per person this experience was incredibly poor. Definitely will not be back.

                                                                                          From the moment we walked into the beautifully decorated restaurant the staff couldn't have been nicer. They pay attention to detail and service was impeccable.The food was delicious and presented beautifully. I highly recommend this beautiful restaurant

                                                                                          The food overall was good, but for the price, I expected better. Thus the value is 3 stars. One member made two attempts to have her beef dish be well done, but neither attempt was successful so she did not eat the main course. The restaurant did credit her meal upon her request with no pushback, so they did the right thing. Service was very good

                                                                                          I’ve been going to Cork Tree with my family for years now. I would consider myself a local regular. Lived in the desert most my life. We ended up going for New Years Eve with 6 friends and family and honestly was very dissatisfied. It was a $150 dollar prefix menu. It was basically very close to the food they would normally have. But some how they just didn’t get it right. The appetizer was terrible and main course and dessert wasn’t far from it. After we paid the $1,200 dollar bill and had no drinks but water. I realized that I wouldn’t be going back to Cork Tree anymore. It was a very expensive meal that I was beyond dissatisfied with. If I’m paying that much for a New Years Eve dinner it better be amazing and it was not. Two thumbs down and won’t be going back.

                                                                                          Food and presentation was amazing. Excellent service. We had fillet, ribeye, duck, creme brûlée- all amazing. Highly recommend- we come here every time we visit Palm desert. Love the light up menus too.. out door courtyard w lighting and heaters very nice option to sit too.
