Michelin-recommended since 2022.We first imagined Aloette to be the perfect diner that we’d want to dine in – a menu with a great cheeseburger paired with a fantastic and fun wine list, a long row of bar stools facing the bar and the kitchen, and an energetic atmosphere accented with an old school hip hop playlist. The buzz of the dining room mirrors the energy of the street on Spadina Avenue; the dining room itself mimics a train’s dining car. It’s a bistro-meets-diner-meets-internationally-inspired menu which is also representative of the diverse culture in Toronto. Our service team is upbeat and genuine but also deeply knowledgeable about the menu and offerings. Brunch at Aloette was something we said we’d never do. Tucked inside a hotel we almost couldn’t find Alder but it was worth looking for ! Delicious fire grill food in a warm atmosphere . Good martinis and friendly staff.

What a wonderful experience to share with a dear friend! Starting with a friendly greeting, smiling faces all around and a bit of ‘on the house’ Cava to celebrate our collective birthdays. Service was prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. Rachael was a breath of fresh air. The food was delicious-we enjoyed a smoked salmon tower, a perfectly prepared omelette and their famous pancakes for dessert. Looking forward to experiencing dinner there soon!
