Exceptional greeting on entering the restaurant with a very warm and welcoming reception. Delighted with the location on level 1 on the window overlooking the streetscape. Excellent array of dishes.Only criticism was the coral trout sauce(ginger and shallot)was too salty. We dined on the following.Special thanks to the kitchen/chef for permitting the dry noodles special order!!! The food and the service at the East are always first class and the location right on Sydney Harbour with views of the bridge and the opera house is pretty hard to beat. Highly recommended for locals and visitors to Sydney.

The chefs are the best! Really good food and good service. Bone marrow indomie & the new linguine are so gooooood

Traditional authentic Japanese food which was outstanding. Lunch time menu very reasonably priced.
