Vatutto is a family run restaurant, Owners Paul and Myrto Recinella moved from their 16 year Institution at Zios East Melbourne to the Ivanhoe location in 2015. A full renovation was completed recently creating a modern yetelegant atmosphere. Vatutto translates from Italian to ‘Everything goes’ the menu here has a diverse flavour selection from all corners of the earth. Produce here is sourced from premium suppliers, and we use sustainable seafood from Australian or New Zealand waters, Wagyu beef from Gippsland, organic eggs, fruit and vegetables, and quality imported cheese, dairy products and flour. This isn’t just a dinner out. It’s an experience for the senses and a memory to cherish for a lifetime. We will never forget how welcome and warm this dining environment was from its staff to its overall ambience. Special thanks to Sam, the best sommelier we have ever experienced and made us ever so thankful we did the wine pairing option. And thanks to Leigh, our waiter, who was just a delight and very helpful at every turn. Ben and his team have created a culinary experience that will knock your Aussie socks off and make you look at Native Australian cuisine in a whole new light.
