- FFelixSídney •1 reseña4.0Comieron hace 6 díasService was shocking, obviously seemed like they had a lot of new staff who had no idea what they were doing. Our meals took over an hour to arrive but they did comp us a free round of drinks for our troubles. There was one manager holding the entire place together. Food was delicious once it arrived. Will be back but hope they have fixed their service issuesMás informaciónMarquess TavernPrecio: Moderado• Británica• Canonbury•3.7
- MMartinManchester/Greater Manchester •14 reseñas4.0Comieron hace 6 díasExcellent service from the team. Nepalese Dumplings starters were fantastic and highly recommended, as were the desserts. As always, a great craft beer selection too - the main reason we keep coming back! The Sunday lunch does seem to have changed since our last visit, with a large Yorkshire and most of the food inside it. The Yorkshire was crispy and tasty as was the Beef. The Pork Belly was very small for the cost but I think we were just unlucky as I could see other plates and they weren't quite the same. The Chicken looked plentiful and the Beef just right, cooked perfectly too. A negative would be the Cauliflower Cheese. I would normally expect to be able to buy a side portion of that for the table but it wasn't available. Sadly I had no more than a teaspoon of it on my plate which was a shame. All told, a very good meal for all and I would definitely recommend going if you have not tried it.Más informaciónOld FountainPrecio: Moderado• Británica• Shoreditch•4.4
- NGNickGLondres •1 reseña5.0Comieron en 27 nov 2022Very friendly, no, VERY friendly. Not just the staff but had a chat at the bar with a regular too. The pub was warm but not too hot, just right. Very clean, my local, which thinks it's a gastro pub, should check out The Golden Lion's toilets and take notes. A reasonable wait after ordering for us to enjoy our first drink, a lovely craft beer and a very well made Bloody Mary. I then sampled a different craft beer while my girlfriend moved to her wine of choice to accompany the meal. When the food did arrive it was a good size plate portion. Enough food to fill but not leave you stuffed. The brisket was slow cooked and delicious with horseradish sauce, perfect red cabbage and carrots, and roasties with a top notch gravy. Only slight niggle was the Yorkshire puddings which were frozen, not kitchen made. Very reasonably priced. We will return to this iconic, impressively designed pub.Más informaciónThe Golden LionPrecio: Moderado• Pub• Camden Town•4.4
