All the meat on our menus is “nose to tail” so the menu is ever changing, and we waste nothing. We even employ our own head ranger to keep the deer herds on the land we manage under control, and have our own deer larder in the Cotswolds where this amazing product is processed.Our fish comes from day boats in Cornwall.We work with the seasons, ensuring the very best truly local veg is with us the day after its picked. The food was absolutely excellent! It was our second visit as we were so impressed first time. Really delicious flavours, imaginative menu and great atmosphere. A great place to take my parents for a Christmas meal! Will be going again!

Managed to get a table at their very popular Xmas by candlelight event and had a delightful couple of hours. Had to go to the 5.30pm sitting, no others available, which was a bit early for us. Our table was booked for another couple at 7.30pm which we would have preferred. Food was very good. We shared a starter of pate which was unremarkable but the main courses of venison and pork were excellent, as were the desserts. We sat right by the log fire and the premises looked very pretty with lots of fairy lights and candles. Next year we will book earlier and get a later table. Recommended.

The Ivy makes the best curries in the area and well worth a visit on Monday or Tuesday for curry nights. Friendly and efficient service from the staff.
