Established in 2003, we started as a small cafe and bar with great coffee, snacks, and pizzas. People loved spending time in the café enjoying our frappes or conversing with our friendly staff, so we decided an expansion was in order. In 2006 the first expansion began until our current completed renovation in 2019. We're still serving great coffee, cocktails, and pizza, and have our selection of fresh dishes to choose from that is currently in the works of expanding when our kitchen's renovation reaches its final completion. So come on by, stay awhile, and enjoy all of the beautiful things this Astoria gem has to offer. IN THE TIME WE HAVE SPENT TRAVELING BETWEEN NYC AND MEXICO WE HAVE SEEN MANY STARK DIFFERENCES BETWEEN NY MEXICAN FOOD AND MEXICAN FOOD FROM MEXICO. THE DETAIL THAT ALWAYS STOOD OUT THE MOST FOR US WAS THE TORTILLA. MOST OF THE TORTILLAS YOU CAN FIND HERE, BOTH IN RESTAURANTS AND GROCERY STORES, ARE MADE FROM CORN FLOUR.
