Exceptional greeting on entering the restaurant with a very warm and welcoming reception. Delighted with the location on level 1 on the window overlooking the streetscape. Excellent array of dishes.Only criticism was the coral trout sauce(ginger and shallot)was too salty. This place is amazing.We visit once every 3 months or so and our visit this time was the best ever. Patagonian toothfish, pipis and lobster, all cooked to perfection. Well done Neptunes palace.

The food and the service at the East are always first class and the location right on Sydney Harbour with views of the bridge and the opera house is pretty hard to beat. Highly recommended for locals and visitors to Sydney.

Blown away by the Christmas Day banquet menu. The fusion Asian style was executed extremely well. The seafood was super fresh - scallops, each person was served half a Southern (export quality) rock lobster with pepper berry and lemon myrtle which worked well and a lovely change from the familiar ginger and shallots. The black angus beef was very tender and the house tea smoked duck. Great innovative lunch with use of native ingredients.

Very good service. Food is also nice. We enjoyed the lunch.
