Everything was great. The comte frites and the bread were amazing at the start - the butter was to die for. The beef starter was superb and tender and the tomato starter was equally as good. We then shared the monkfish and the gnocchi which were both 10/10. The sauce on both was outrageous. Would like to come back Not overly priced

We received prompt and friendly service without fuss. All 3 courses of our a la carte menu choice ( as there were 2 of us, this means 6 dishes tried ) were excellent ( eg. halibut, beef tartare, pork cheek. tandoori monkfish , baked coffee tart ). We expected a high quality of food and service and we were not disappointed. Our white wine was served appropriately chilled. The restaurant was busy in this lead up to Christmas and yet our server took time to explain the menu and courses were delivered in a timely fashion. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable eating experience.

Team pre-Christmas drinks went well - the wines, nibbles were very good. The service was very attentive and accommodating, pleasant atmosphere overall.

It's a firm favourite of mine for a reason Good location, staff on point good food and great value Never disappoints

Waiters were really helpful, food was fantastic, ambience was good.
