Utter Waffle - a gem within the South London brunch scene! We opened our Herne Hill restaurant in 2021, and since have become an institution in Herne Hill's small but awesome food scene. Since our launch, we've collected a small cabinet of trophies and awards, and have even cooked our savoury waffles on Masterchef, Sunday Brunch & Saturday Kitchen!Our busy brunch restaurant serves everything from fried chicken & waffles and our signature avo smash, to bottomless brunch & craft beers. For those with a sweet tooth - fret not as the desserts are pretty good too - (we're even the proud winners of The Best Dessert in the UK (British Street Food Awards)), so there really is something for everyone! We pride ourselves on a super-inclusive menu and ability to cater for those with dietary requirements; We're co-owned by a coeliac, don't handle any gluten on-site, plus we boast loads of vegetarian and vegan options too!     Delightful people in a lovely setting. The food is not only fantastic for those with allergies or alternative diets but is just really well executed and delicious. I had veggie fried chicken which was brilliantly done with oyster mushrooms and the crispiest batter ever.

    We had a child in our group who has a nut allergy and the staff were most attentive. We liked that the manager brought a tablet to our table and he entered the details and asked us to verify; the list of suitable food choices were displayed. The food was lovely and the children themselves rated the experience highly.

    We recently enjoyed an excellent afternoon tea at The Parlour. The menu featured a delightful selection of savory and sweet dishes, with several creative and unique twists that were particularly impressive. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who ensured our tea was constantly replenished. I would highly recommend The Parlour for a special occasion or simply an indulgent treat.
