The Fox & Pheasant is a little “country” pub tucked away in a small corner of Chelsea. The pub was founded in 1846 and it began its life as the Bedford Arms. Ten years later it changed to the Prince of Wales and in 1965 became The Fox & Pheasant and we have no intention of changing its name again!Not only are we a snug pub in the winter with 3 fire places, a dartboard and dog biscuits for the well behaved companions (dogs)! Good menu choice. Sunday so roast options but good other choices which covered the people who dined and not just the usual pub fare either. Very good quality food. Staff very helpful and friendly. Good choice of beer on draft.

I was told about this location, and I wanted to cat h up with a friend so this was ideal. It was quiet so we were able to have a conversation and it wasn't too noisy. The service was good, seems like a small family run. We had small plates as hunger wasn't top if the list . The salmon gravlax was good , I think the portion size was too small . The squid was the right mount The Fuji Mocktail was so addictive ...enjoyed it. Will head back

Visiting London from small village north east Scotland needed a restaurant which served good food but not too pretentious or “fancy” as have fussy 15 year old. Beautiful decor. Service amazing from Derick with a lovely special touch for husbands birthday. Would highly recommend.
