Alo is a masterclass in modern fine dining, offering an unforgettable tasting menu experience in the heart of Toronto. We finally tried Alo after hearing much great things. We sat at “The Bar at Alo” for a St-Valentines fixed menu. The Service was outstanding from all staff and the food / cocktails were indeed deserving of their Michelin Star. Ambiance and decor in the bar area was a bit dark for our taste. I found the prices to be a bit steep, but not outside the norm at this level. The wine pairing was interesting and will get two of their featured bottles. However, I wonder why they chose to feature a US bottle in their pairing at this particular time. Overall great experience, will likely try their main dining area in the near future.
