    All I can say is this local grilled yardbird joint is the absolute best I’ve experienced and that includes my hanging out in Tokyo, Osaka and Fukuoka plus Honolulu since childbirth!! All the skewers are professionally and expertly prepped and presented. Side and rice dishes are deliciously authentic and truly complement all the hard work and time put in by the back of the house. And service is always very Japanese!!

    Excellent food! Incredible flavors, inventive dishes that kept us guessing. Great ambiance. Fun and helpful staff. Will definitely be going back asap. Recommended dishes: -Yellowtail carpaccio -Softshell crab -Ika Curry -Soy garlic chicken wings -Asobu salad

    Been wanting to try Happa Restaurant for a while now since they opened at the Gardena Hotel, and they did not disappoint. All the dishes come out hot and delicious, and the service was outstanding. We will be back soon!
