La pizza es un asunto de familia para mí. Mi tío Angelo llegó a América en la década de 1930 con una pasión por la pizza. Trabajó duro y, finalmente, compró su propia pizzería en Brooklyn. Fue allí donde el tío Angelo inventó una receta de pizza hecha al horno de carbón. Esa receta se ha perfeccionado a lo largo de 60 años y se ha transmitido de generación en generación. Mis hermanos y primos en Nueva York conocen la receta. Los comensales del Patsy's, Nick's y Angelo's han disfrutado de sus pizzas, pastas y ensaladas durante años. Bertuccis has the best pizza and rolls. Drive 35 minutes for their veggie pizza since the Plymouth Meeting location closed. Our server was pleasant and attentive

What a delightful surprise. We were looking for some artisan pizza, salad, and a cocktail. We found this hidden speakeasy"ish" spot in the basement of 1800 Arch Street essentially seeming like a random pop-up. Yet, it has a very cool vibe created by lighting and simplistic decor with the grand pizza oven with mosaic embellishments (Marra Forni) being the focus of the wide open space! The food was fantastic, exactly what you would expect from a Vetri restaurant. The pizza was so delicious, the chopped salad with the perfect blend of ingredients, a good selection of beer and some delicious signature cocktails. We loved it!

It has been a while since we had eaten there. The lunch special with a $5 individual deep dish pizza could not be beat. Delicious. We will be back.
