Originally built in 1518, the building was the very first Guildhall in Windsor which was the meeting place for the Trinity Guild (the town traders) which since the 13th Century has provided the governing body for the town until it was turned into an inn & public house in 1689. There has been a pub on this site for almost 500 years and is one of the oldest establishments in the town, only a few of which are still standing.Located on Market Street, The Prince Harry is only 50 metres from Windsor Castle.     Another great meal at this pub on a table in front of a roaring fire. I love their sticky toffee pudding. My favourite!

    I have 2 or 3 Sunday Lunches at the Rose and Crown every month. They are consistently excellent and really good value. I also love the ambience in the Rose and Crown .... there's always pleasant and friendly people in there.

    Excellent Service and excellent food. Will definitely be returning and very happy to recommend to family and friends. I booked a table here to celebrate my wedding anniversary with my husband and we were presented with a surprise dessert which was a lovely surprise. Such a wonderful jester.

    We met members of our family here, because it’s halfway between our houses. Great food, excellent service, nice ambience. An all round great place to eat, highly recommended. It’s just a shame it’s not closer to where we live, because we’d go there more often.
