We've certainly started 2025 very positively by going to Naughton's for lunch today! I couldn't wait to get back there. Everything was perfect about the experience. I really enjoyed my dish of fettuccini with its interesting flavours! And my husband's battered fish and chips didn't disappoint - it's his favourite! Thank you again Naughton's - you are such a gem! Dining at the Brandon is always a pleasant experience. Knowledgeable staff helped us make good wine choices. Some of our group chose meals from the starter menu and were happy to have the portion sizes explained. We could converse comfortably because background noise was controlled by the venue. All elements came together to make our Christmas get together really enjoyable.

We didn't eat at The Railway, we went for the Jazz/Blues Band with singer Yolanda Ingley which was great. Sunday afternoon session 4 - 6. Great. Lots of people in the front bar and in the beer garden. The vibe was good. Plus they sell Carlton Draught and Great Northern. Win, win, win.
