The trout was perfect, service was top notch and the window seat was warm and cozy.

We decided to sit in the dining room for happy hour because the bar was too loud. I ordered the fish tacos and they were served with grilled sweet peppers, sides of black beans, chopped tomatoes, guacamole and a dab of sour cream. The soft tacos were separate on the plate and I made my own tacos. They were the best fish tacos I’ve ever eaten. My friend ordered the salmon off the regular menu and she raved. Gary our server was beyond - we had wonderful service. Oh, and don’t forget to order a lemon drop - yummm.

Jax is always a wonderful place to dine. Beautiful food, great desserts, and great service from the staff will definitely be back again.

Maine Shack Boulder; Lobster was super tender. Scallops cooked great, not over fried and too done. Staff was really nice. We had a party of eight and all was good! As a matter of fact, my roll was better than some Ive had in Maine the past 4 years!
