Masuya Restaurant is located in a building, which has been designated as a cultural asset, on O’Connell Street in Sydney. This is the same place as the office of Kanematsu Gosho, the pioneer of Australia – Japan trades, was situated in 1980. Masuya Restaurant opened in 1993, then full renovation was implemented in 2006.The approx. five meters long sushi counter, designed by architect Robert Toland in ‘kabuki red’ with an idea of the stage of kabuki, has since fascinated not only local Australian customers but also various people with different backgrounds.A showcase displays more than 20 different sushi ingredients everyday including locally produced fish, which is purchased on the day.     Boatshed La Perouse has always been our favorite dining spot, and it did not disappoint during our Christmas lunch yesterday. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. The ambiance set a perfect mood with its inviting atmosphere, and the food was absolutely delicious—everything we hoped for and more. What truly stood out, however, was the outstanding service. A young, charming gentleman named Prince took care of us, and I can’t express enough how attentive, friendly, and professional he was. His service was beyond excellent and made our meal even more special. Boatshed La Perouse is a true gem, and thanks to Prince’s impeccable hospitality, we left feeling truly valued and content.     We ordered the Kangaroo Skewers, Yellowfin Tuna and a Tomahawk steak, along with broccolini and pumpkin as sides to share. Every dish was excellent. It exceeded our expectations, and we would highly recommend visiting for an incredible meal. We plan on going again.
