Masuya Restaurant is located in a building, which has been designated as a cultural asset, on O’Connell Street in Sydney. This is the same place as the office of Kanematsu Gosho, the pioneer of Australia – Japan trades, was situated in 1980. It was lovely to return one of Sydney’s icon restaurants. The family feel, quality of cooking and efficient, friendly staff make you feel right at home. As we expected a great range of fresh seafood was on the menu and thoroughly enjoyed. Nice to see a cocktail list added to the drinks menu and the very underrated Doyle’s wines and beer are still available. Add in the wonderful location, novel ferry ride to get there and the views, made a lunch a great occasion for the family. We won’t wait so long to return next time. Cheers, Rob S.

We celebrated our anniversary at Clam Bar and had a wonderful experience. Amazing seafood and produce, beautiful interior design and staff who were helpful and knowledgeable with the menu and wine list. We look forward to celebrating at Clam Bar bar again.

The food was exceptional – authentic Italian flavors that transported us straight to Italy. The pasta was perfectly cooked, and the wood-fired pizza was simply divine. The wine selection complemented our meal perfectly, and the desserts were the perfect ending to a fantastic evening.
