Este establecimiento sirve almuerzo, cena y brunch dominical. Este bonito restaurante de cocina de Louisiana moderna se encuentra en la calle Magazine y cuenta con el chef Justin Devillier, ganador del premio James Beard. El nombre La Petite Grocery rinde homenaje a la historia del edificio, de más de 1 siglo. La estructura original fue construida a finales del siglo XIX, y se llamaba Central Tea, Coffee and Butter Depot. En 1908, un incendio devastó el local, que fue convertido en una completa tienda de alimentación, y hasta 1982 fue Fine Foods de Vonderhaar, una carnicería y tienda de alimentos de calidad superior. Cuando La Petite Grocery abrió en marzo de 2004, también aspiraba a proporcionar al barrio tés exóticos, productos frescos y café tostado en la zona.
