The idea came from a mirror in an antiques market and a love for a more informal approach to dining, the result is a chippy in North London with old church pews bolted to the walls to be leaned on and eaten from. Split between two rooms, the front the engine, the kitchen and bar shared by customers as they perch on bar stools and enjoy dinner and a show. Very pleasant Friday lunchtime meal. Tables well apart so possible to have a good conversation. Had set menu - food very good, service was good, and not too fussy and discreet. Super experience.

The wife and I went for a mid-week date night and had a lovely time at Humo. The staff were welcoming and friendly, the decor and overall aesthetic was very cool and most importantly the food was delicious. It’s a great asset to Watford high street.
