Chef Sebby Holmes launched Farang back in 2016 after trading at street food markets throughout London. A year later he took up temporary residency in Farang's current home in Highbury & Islington. After excellent reviews, he took on the space permanently after his step-father retired and since, has gone from strength to strength. Farang was recently inducted into the National Restaurant Awards top 100 and awarded a MICHELIN Bib Gourmand, which we have kept four years running. The food was beyond exceptional. We were a party of 8 and we all left beautifully satisfied. One member of the party had ample choices on a separate gluten free menu. Another was vegetarian and had a huge range of options. The flavours were incredible. The menu is expansive so have a look beforehand! Next time I come back, I will need to try some other things (but still get at least one portion of dim sum!). The only negative regarding ambiance was that is was really really hot inside - the heating might have been up too high. 100% will return.
