The Pannekoeken

This Dutch creation may be the most baffling. With a circumference of 37" and a diameter of 12", it can be cut into 113 square inch bites. Its simplicity lets you try new flavours with the comforts of home in every bite

The Canadian
What does it mean to be Canadian? Is it saying "eh" after every sentence? By calling -3 degrees t-shirt weather? The real answer is delicious DeBakon, "Free Run" Eggs with Genuine Maple Syrup and Tomato Garnish
Strawberry Chocolate & Whip
As chocolate rivers flow from mountains of whip, strawberries dance in the warm sunshine. Ok, this place doesn't exist. But you can find Chocolate, Strawberries and Whip Cream piled on this wonderful pannekoek
Trail Mix
The Dutch say,"True adventure requires a pair of wooden clogs and a great breakfast." We're not sure why you need clogs but we do have Trail Mix, Honey and Hot Cinnamon Apples served on a delicious pannekoek
The Hash
Like a full suitcase, nothing else could fit. Stuffed with Hash Browns, Mushroom, Green Pepper, Onion and Cheddar mixed with your choice of Ham, DeBakon*, Sausage, Turkey Bacon or Vegetarian with Hollandaise Sauce

Lovely brunch on a very cold winter day! We had a reservation and were seated immediately. Service was prompt and friendly; food came quickly and was quite delicious. I have never had a "pannekoek" before but tried one as it is their specialty-- it was lovely. I will certainly come back in the future. :)

Prices were a bit high. You do get large portions which is great but still don't think it balanced out for cost vs value.

I enjoy De Dutch pancake menu - different from anywhere else. The staff is friendly and efficient. The location happens to be close to the Winspear Centre. My friend and I enjoy having lunch/brunch at De Dutch and then walking over to the Sunday afternoon concert.

Took my parents here for breakfast. They recently returned from the Netherlands and agreed that it was authentic and our whole table found it delicious. We will definitely go back.

Start to finish everything at the restaurant was what I hoped it would be… and then some. Being from out of town I wasn’t prepared for the difficulties finding parking and then the scavenger hunt to find the place after we found an underground parkade. So leave yourself a little extra time for that! But oh so worth it. Definitely be back!
