Named after Elias (Ely) Shapley of Greenville, Mississippi, Ely’s was established in 2008 with an emphasis on the highest quality beef, seafood, and spirits, while featuring an extensive wine list and friendly professional service. Located upstairs overlooking the Railroad District in Old Town Ridgeland (MS), Ely’s mixes the old with the new, offering time tested dishes in a cozy, upscale, contemporary setting unlike most local steak and seafood restaurants.

It was a great date night with my wife for New Years Eve. We have enjoyed every meal we have had at Ely’s and will be back many many more times. The redfish was awesome and my bone-in ribeye was cooked to perfection. Thank you Ely’s for always going above and beyond.

As always - great atmosphere, great service and great food. Our family would feel lost if we did not include the experience of Ely’s as part of our Christmas celebration.

We went on Friday everything was great. The Food, drinks and atmosphere. Our waitress was so sweet even the manager came to check on us three times.

This was a fantastic dining experience! Our server, who I unfortunately can't recall the name of, was absolutely exceptional. I understand she's a nurse, and her attentive and caring service truly shone through. I started with the crawfish and shrimp dip, which was flavorful but personally, I prefer dips served warm. This was due to my own oversight – I should have inquired about the preparation method. For the main course, I indulged in the mashed potatoes and tenderloin tips, and it was one of the best meals I've had in a long time! The flavors were perfectly balanced, the cook was perfect and the quality of the ingredients was evident. The chips served with the tenderloin tips was an excellent touch. The cocktails were also excellent, adding to the overall enjoyable dining experience. I will definitely be returning to this establishment whenever I'm back in town!

We go to Ely’s on our wedding anniversary because we know the experience will offer fine dining uin a quiet, civilized atmosphere. This time was no exception. Excellent food and service.

I always love Ely’s! It has a great atmosphere and the food is always exceptional. The filet is cooked perfectly, and the fries are to die for. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly!

We ordered the fried artichoke app, Redfish and filet with creole sauce. The redfish was excellent with a nice sauce and tons of crabmeat. The steak was perfectly prepared and fantastic as well. We also split a wonderful wedge salad and awesome french fries.

As always, great food, great service, perfect dining experience. Steaks are best in the area and the wine list can cover the needs of any range. Love this place. Oh - and got a couple bottles of their TERRIFIC steak seasoning to go. If you've not discovered this, get some lots of places locally, use it on almost everything.
