El Mamakas es una elegante taberna griega con capacidad para 85 comensales situada en Ossington Avenue. Su propietario, Thanos Tripi, sirve auténtica cocina griega elaborada con productos frescos y platillos clásicos de la gastronomía griega con un enfoque contemporáneo.     It was our first time here to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. We had an exquisite dining experience last night! The atmosphere is intimate with dim lights, and the interior design is very Renaissance/Baroque inspired. They have an extensive wine list and great food menu. We enjoyed everything we ordered. We got complimentary limoncello and a crème brûlée with a candle which made our experience extra special. When we were leaving, the Bartender/Manager offered us a ride home because they noticed that our ride was taking longer to arrive due to the snow storm. It was a very kind and rare gesture, we will definitely come back again.

    We had a lovely time here. Food was great (we brought takeout for the next day with us - it was delish!). Great service, nice quiet atmosphere. It was exactly what we needed. Highly recommended.
