Ever since the first caveman decided to slap a side of mammoth over the cave fire, man (and woman) has enjoyed the flavor of food cooked over a wood fire. At Timber Wood-Fire Bistro, all of our dishes are made from scratch using the highest quality ingredients. They are then cooked either over our state-of-the-art wood burning grill or in a brick oven heated by the embers of logs. Cooking in this way imparts a slight smokiness as it brings out the natural flavors of the food. A juicy ribeye sizzles and caramelizes, giving the tender beef a gorgeous crust. Memoir was an amazing place to eat in downtown Omaha. We went there to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The service was amazing . Chris was very attentive to our needs. The food was some of the best we have had in Omaha area. An amazing appetizer including a dip and an amazing squash soup. Our main courses was shared between the two of us as salmon on rice and a prime rib sandwich. Dessert was not only a beautiful presented but delicious. I can't say enough great things about this restaurant. We will be back.

At first, I was skeptical because they recently changed buildings, but was pleasantly surprised to find a great environment. The drinks and food are a little pricier, but so worth it! We went the six of us and everyone loved their meals. The service was great as always highly recommend.
