General Public is inspired by trying to imagine what an upscale English pub would be if it had the heart of an American brasserie (and was open 11 to 11). It’s also going to signal a little bit of steakhouse, but not too much. And finally, it will look behind itself at the Black Hoof, which you will see reflected in James Santon’s menu here and there. Great food!! Stuffed Paneer and butter chicken were superb! It was my boyfriends birthday and they took such a good care of us!! One of my favourite restaurants in Toronto, for sure!

Pizza was great, thin crust which I like. I'm Italian and I really appreciate the authentic ingredients they use. Tiramisu was also very good and good espresso. Well priced. Will definitely go back to try other dishes from the kitchen.
