Next Door is the sister restaurant of Margaret, which, quite literally, sits next door to it at the corner of Bay St and Guilfoyle Avenue. We had an excellent lunch today. The octopus was presented with a delightful charred flavour, adding a smoky depth that was simply irresistible. The snapper was sweet and juicy, perfectly cooked, and seasoned to perfection, standing in stark contrast to the often tasteless and dry fish found elsewhere. The strawberry Eton mess was beautifully presented and perfectly balanced, ending the meal on a high note. Overall, this restaurant truly deserves its high reputation.

Food and service were exceptional. Lighting was a bit dim for my liking but a minor complaint on an otherwise wonderful dinner. Highly recommend.

The last time we dined at Doyle was 30 years ago when we lived closer, we enjoyed out delicious meals, we were seated out front, so we had a good view of the harbour. our French waitress we very friendly and efficient. We will be back.
