The Two Sawyers is a 16th Century Inn recently refurbished and under family ownership. We pride ourselves on serving excellent beer and food. We have a large beer garden to the rear of the pub with over 30 tables for our guests to use for both drinking and dining. A character bar with log fires serving guest ales, beers, and wines. It was a quiet Monday night so nice to find somewhere in Hastings open. Not too many people there but just enough for it to feel lively-ish. Staff were friendly and kind to our dog. Service very good. The food was delicious. There were 3 of us, 2 had the venison with trimmings, very flavoursome. The other had the ham and eggs which was also very good. Wine also nice.

A great Sunday lunchtime experience. All the bar and waiting staff were friendly, helpful and polite. We had the roast beef and roast lamb which were perfectly cooked, melt in the mouth. Accompanying veggies all tasty and a generous portion too. Look forward to coming back again.

Lovely food as always. Our turkey curry was delicious and our friends who were dining with us had a very generous portion of fish and chips. The batter was nice and crisp and the chunky chips were just right. Loved the panettone bread and butter pudding we had as a desert. Great service, very efficient and friendly. The restaurant was very warm and cosy with the open log fire in the bar.
