- PPeterBath/Somerset •1 reseña5.0Comieron hace 3 díasLovely pub and very attentive staff. Sunday lunch was good, but not quite the excellent we had hoped for. Belly of pork was meant to come with crackling but instead had a thing placed on top that was like a large, overcooked pork scratching, and the gravy was a bit lacking in flavour, but I’m probably being a bit picky as we’d definitely go back again as overall experience was great!!Más informaciónThe Marlborough TavernPrecio: Caro• Café / gastrobar• Bath•4.5

- PPhillipaLondres •2 reseñas4.0Comieron hace 5 díasExcellent starter and main courses. Good variety on the menu, including interesting vegetarian options. Good quality food that’s skilfully cooked. Staff friendly and attentive. Separately dining area is set apart from the bar area and it would be nice to feel a bit closer to the cheer and warmth of an open fire in the depth of winter.Más informaciónThe Three DaggersPrecio: Moderado• Pub• Westbury•4.3
- JJulietBath/Somerset •1 reseña5.0Comieron en 27 dic 2024After an hour’s walk on a misty betwixmas morning, myself, husband and trusty black lab Jack, settled into a cosy corner of the bar for lunch (booked in advance given the time of year). Despite the ‘not wanting to eat for a month’ feeling post Christmas turkey, the walk and perusing the varied menu did the trick in building up our appetites! Having seen the list of desserts, we decided to skip the small plates despite how tempting they were. I had the lamb shank, washed down with a warming glass of Merlot. The lamb was everything you’d want from a perfectly cooked shank - meat melting off the bone, coupled with fluffy Parmesan and garlic mash, red cabbage and a delicious sauce. My husband chose the cheddar soufflé which was gooey perfection accompanied by potatoes and greens. The presentation of both dishes was excellent. For dessert, I went for the vanilla and maple cheesecake with salted caramel sauce whilst my husband had the sticky toffee pudding with a specially made for him sticky toffee sauce (the menu had a brandy sauce but my husband doesn’t consume any alcohol) and ice cream. This was also delicious. Again, both desserts were beautifully presented with redcurrant and blackberry garnishes. The staff were attentive to the perfect degree, the bar area was clean, tidy and nicely laid out. The complimentary still or sparkling water was a nice touch. Overall the meal and experience was 5 star. We will definitely be back, maybe even with the teenagers! Would thoroughly recommend!Más informaciónThe Cross House InnPrecio: Moderado• Británica• Bath•4.8
