A lovely local pub with excellent food for us all. 8 and 6 year olds loved the Skate wing and mussels and the trout wellington was excellent. Our 8 year old commented ‘the staff are super friendly and always replace my mussel shell bowl - I like it here.’ A seal of approval by the boss!! Thanks.

My first experience of this restaurant and it didn’t disappoint. Food excellent, service brilliant and atmosphere was great. Prices are a little more expensive than other pubs but it’s worth it. The only thing that had a grey cloud was the moaning couple behind us that had nothing wrong with their food but wanted to moan for the sake of it. The staff handled it really well.

The Valentine meal was well balanced in flavours as well as choice. Compliments to the chef for an excellent meal

Food was amazing . We had ribs, sweet peppers and Spanish potatoes (million layers not bravas) beetroot, prawns and carrots. All great . Especially the baked cheesecake . Food rather expensive though , only complaint .
