Amazing pub on the heath. First time visit and won’t be the last! Staff exceptionally friendly and welcoming and the food was sublime. Thanks for making my Christmas Eve magical.

At first when I was looking for the restaurant I thought it was a bit strange it was in the middle of a park, but once you get there it's a cosy environment, and the staff are lovely. There's a board with the menu most the dishes seem to be shared dishes we got one starter the scallops this dish was superb in everyway. Then the mains and the portion is large we went for the duck it can out in 2 different ways and both appealing to the mouth. I would definitely come back here the food is worth while as well as the ambience.

We enjoyed our lunch very much, there was a very good range of choices and the steaks were particularly very good

Excellent meal and reasonable price for the quality. Service was excellent too. Highlights from the menu where the Brussels sprouts and the pork chop.

Amazing food as always. I would highly recommend dining at The Blacksmiths Arms. A large group ordered just before us but it was certainly worth the wait. We had two scampi and chips, one steak and ale pie and I had the most delicious ham,egg and chips resulting in four empty plates! 😋
